ReadyReef, Inc. Principals
Chris Davis has worked as a teacher, professional baseball player, and subsequently spent 28 years in various manufacturing industries, including brush making, polyester polymer and film production. Multiple roles included supervision, technical customer service, planning/scheduling and plant management, ultimately serving as VP of Operations.
Chris earned a BS from William & Mary and the APICS' CPIM certification. Long standing family ties to the waters of the Eastern Shore and Mathews County have provoked the ReadyReef endeavor to help to return the Chesapeake Bay to its natural condition: one of the most beautiful, healthy and productive estuary systems in the world.
Ed Davis has 29 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry. He has held various managerial roles, rising to VP & General Manager of a major U.S. packaging operation. In addition to his manufacturing experience, Ed has owned and operated a marine business on the Chesapeake Bay (Pulley's Marine) which was a full service repair and retail operation.
Ed received his BA from Emory & Henry College with additional training from George Mason University and UVA's Darden's School of Business. Ed has served as President of The Gravure Association of America, Tidewater Marine Trade Association, and the Mathews, Virginia Club of Rotary International. His hobbies include boating, fishing and hunting on the Chesapeake Bay. Because he has spent almost 60 years enjoying the Bay, he has a keen interest in its future health. ReadyReef, Inc. is a tangible result of that interest.
